Her birth name is Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on July 9 1983. Following her graduation, her first job was in the real estate industry. Tarek El Moussa was nearly destroyed in the 2008 financial crisis. The couple relocated from an expensive home where they paid $6,000 for a month, and moved to a small home that cost just $700. Their business, and the economy as a whole, gradually recovered. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted his friend to aid in making an HGTV audition video in the year the year 2011. The tape showed Tarek as well as Christina who were working in tandem to flip a house. The tape landed in the hands of executives at the production company Pie Town Productions. The executives fell in adore with Tarek & Christina. The contract was made by the couple to HGTV. The series "Flip of Flop", premiered on the 13th of April, 2013.
