Anamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress. She was awarded with the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress for the Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. Speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian well. Her father, who is a teacher of theatre at one of Romania's top theater schools, also an instructor in theatre. The award was presented to her as the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award during the Young Actor Gala Mangalia.
